Ray Hood is a seasoned executive who brings over twenty-five years of experience as the leader of technology companies, including his time as CEO of an international, publicly traded, software firm. During that time, he extended the company’s sales and service operations to 14 countries and guided it through a successful public offering.
Ray started his career as a CPA with PriceWaterhouse. He later founded technology companies MicroTrek (financial risk management) and Neptune Systems (logistics solutions), which he merged with Dallas Systems to form EXE Technologies and then took public in 2000. Ray also served as CEO of SensorLogic (M2M/IoT software), Qumu (secure enterprise video software), and Allegro Development (energy trading and risk management software). His most recent venture was as CEO of Cenergistic (energy conservation solutions).
Ray is on the Board of Directors of OneNetwork, a cloud-based “demand-driven” supply chain solution provider and spent 10 years on the Executive Board of Advisors at the SMU School of Engineering.
Ray is a graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and is the author of the book “Using Technology to Transform the Value Chain.”
