November is National Family Caregivers Month

Honoring Caregivers For All That They Do

Caregiving can be extremely challenging. Seniorlink is committed to supporting family caregivers and we all bear witness to this fact daily in our professional lives. Many of us have experienced this demanding role on a very personal level. Being among the 25 million U.S. working caregivers means that we are constantly balancing our work with the needs of our loved ones.

In our 4th annual Thank A Caregiver campaign, we are highlighting caregiving stories from the heroes among us. We are sharing personal essays and blogs from caregivers within our program, within our industry and among our friends that we’ve made over the years – like authors Liz O’Donnell, Denise Brown and NBC correspondent Richard Lui. It is the intent of this campaign to let you visit with these caregivers and connect with them, to let them know they are not alone. Please visit this page daily to connect.

Additionally, we have launched a social media campaign under the hashtag #ThankACaregiver. Please adopt our custom profile image, aka our “Twibbon,” as I have. Visit this link and follow the on-site instructions to add our #ThankACaregiver Twibbon to your profile.

Thank you for your continued support of caregivers.

Sincerely,
Tom Riley
